Blog, Portfolio & Shop

With options described in this section, you will be able to understand how Blog, Portfolio, and Shop works.


General

Blog, Portfolio & Shop

  • Navigation

    Change the functionalities of navigation in these post types. You can hide the header and sticky arrows or enable to option to navigate in the same category. This does not apply the Woocommerce products.

  • Navigation | Header Arrows

    Select the style between simple or classic.

  • Navigation | Sticky Arrows

    Choose which elements should be displayed - default, arrows only or images only.

  • Share Box

    Option responsible for displaying or hiding the share box.

  • Share Box | Style

    Select the style between simple or classic.

Blog, Portfolio

  • All pages in pagination

    Displays a full list of pages in the pagination instead of a short one.

  • Love Box

    Display the Love Box on the posts/single projects.

Single Post, Single Portfolio Project

  • Featured Image Caption

    Options to enable or disable captions for the featured image. You can also hide it only for mobile devices.

Where do you set the captions?

Caption for Featured Image can be set in the WordPress Media Library.
  • Title tag

    Select which heading type you want to use for your single posts and portfolio projects.


Blog

Layout

  • Posts per page

    Set the amount of posts on the main blog page.
    This is also the amount on the search page.

  • Layout

    Choose the layout of a main blog page, you can select from: Grid, Classic, Masonry Blog Style, Masonry Tiles, Photo, Photo 2 and Timeline.

  • Columns

    Specify the number of columns for Grid, Masonry and Photo 2 blog layouts. We recommend using 2-3 columns for best results.

  • Title tag

    Select which heading type you want to use for your blog page.

  • Post Image

    Select if you want to use the default way of displaying featured images, which can be replaced with sliders and videos or if you want to force the featured image even when a slider or video post type is chosen.

Important!

There are exceptions

The post image option will work for all blog styles except Masonry Tiles & Photo 2.

  • Full Width

    Enable/Disable full width layout for the Masonry blog style.

Options

  • Blog Page

    Assign the main blog page if you are not using a dedicated page. This means that your are using the default way of displaying posts in WordPress.

The main blog page in WordPress

The option above does not work if you want to set a dedicated page for displaying posts. You still have to set this page in wordpress settings > reading.

  • Order By

    Select which of the following you want to order your posts: date, title or random.

Important!

You want to use random?

If you want to select this option, remember that it will not work with pagination or load more options. All posts have to be displayed on one page in order to sort them in random order.

  • Order

    Choose between descending and ascending order.

  • Exclude Category

    You can exclude categories from the blog page. Remember to type the category slug and separate more than one with a coma ( , )

  • Excerpt Length

    Maximum amount of the words in excerpt.

  • Post Meta

    Choose which information should be displayed in your blog. You can choose from author, date, categories and tags.

  • Load More

    Show "Load More" button instead of pagination links.

  • Filters

    Select which filters you want to display. The options are: show, show only categories, show only tags, show only authors and hide.

  • Filters | jQuery filtering

    Enable or disable the dynamic posts filtering. This does not reload the website.

Quick Tip!

Always show all posts

If you enable jQuery filtering, you need to display all of your posts on one page, without pagination or load more options enabled.

Single Post

  • Title

    Enable/Disable the Single Post title on all single posts.

  • Zoom Image

    Enable/Disable Zoom Featured Image on click.

  • Author Box

    Enable/Disable Author Box info.

  • Comments

    Enable/Disable comments.

  • Layout ID

    Use a custom layout for all single posts.

  • Menu

    Select a custom menu for all single posts. It will replace the default menu.

  • Intro | Padding

    Define padding for the Intro Header template. More information about single post templates here.

  • Count

    Provide the amount of related posts to display.
    The 0 value will disable related posts.

  • Columns

    How many related posts you want to display in a row.

  • Post Image

    Define what type of media you want to display. Only the featured image, or a video and slider you selected for this post.

Advanced

  • Random Love

    Generate a random love number for posts.


Portfolio

Layout

  • Posts per page

    Set the amount of posts on main portfolio page.

  • Layout

    Choose the layout of the main portfolio page, you can select from: Grid, Flat, Masonry Blog Style, Masonry Hover Details, Masonry Minimal, Masonry Flat, List and Exposure.

  • Columns

    Define how many portfolios your want to display in a row.

There are exceptions

This option works in layouts Flat, Grid, Masonry Blog Style, Masonry Hover Details.
  • Full Width

    Enable/Disable the full width layout for Flat, Grid and Masonry.

Options

  • Portfolio Page

    Assign the main portfolio page.

    Select which of the following you want to order your posts: date, title or random.

Quick Tip!

You want to use random?

If you want to select this option, remember that it will not work with pagination or load more options. All posts have to be displayed on one page in order to sort them in random order.

  • Order

    Choose the behaviour of the project links when you click them. You can choose to show: details, popup image, disable details and show only the popup image or go to the project page in a new window or the same one.

  • Hover Title

    Show Post Title instead of Hover Icons
    Only for short post titles. Does not work with Image Frame style: Zoom.

  • Portfolio Meta

    Choose which information should be displayed in your portfolio. You can choose from author, date, categories and tags.

  • Load More

    Show "Load More" button instead of pagination links.

  • Filters

    Select which filters you want to display. The options are: show, show only categories, show only tags, show only authors and hide.

  • Filters | jQuery filtering

    Enable or disable the dynamic posts filtering. This does not reload the page.

Important!

Does not work with "Load more" feature

That's why, you should set a really big amount of posts per page value

Single Post

  • Title

    Show/Hide Single Project Title.

  • Related Projects | Count

    Provide the amount of related projects to display.
    The 0 value will disable related projects.

  • Related Projects | Columns

    How many related projects you want to display in a row.

  • Comments

    Show/Hide Comments

  • Layout ID

    Use custom layout for all single projects

  • Menu

    Select a custom menu for all single posts. It will replace the default menu.

Advanced

  • Random Love

    Generate a random love number.

  • Permalink | Single Project slug

    Change the permalink of single project page.

  • Permalink | Category slug

    Change the permalink of a category.

Important!

Some slugs are reserved!

Single Project and Category slugs must be different.
After you change them, go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save changes. Please do not use slugs such as: shop, portfolio, blog etc. Those are might be already in use and may cause issues.


Shop

Layout

  • Products per page

    Set the amount of products on main shop page.

  • Layout

    Choose the layout of a main shop page, you can select from: Grid 3 col, Grid 4 col, Masonry and List.

  • Catalogue Mode

    Enabled will remove all Add to Cart buttons. Users will not be able to buy anything.

Options

  • Images

    Specify, which image you want to use as a product image. You can choose to disable the default option to display images and use an external plugin.

  • Add to Cart Button

    Show Cart button on archives.

  • Descriptions

    Display descriptions on archives.

  • Sidebar

    Select on which pages do you want to display the sidebar. Options are: All (Shop, Categories, Products) and Shop, Categories only.

  • Slider

    Select on which pages do you want to display the slider.

  • Sold Out

    Change the "Sold Out" label.

Single Product

  • Style

    Choose one of the styles for the single product page. You can choose from: accordion, tabs or modern.

Important!

Preferred image size

For Modern style recommended image width is 900px (1200px without sidebar). You can change the WooCommerce image sizes in the WordPress customizer.

  • Title

    Select where the titles of products should appear. You can choose from: Content, Content & Subheader, Subheader.

  • Related Products | Count

    Provide the amount of related products to display.
    The 0 value will disable related projects.

Advanced

  • Cart | Icon

    Select icon for the shop cart in the header.

Important!

Icon did not update?

If the icon you selected did not update, try adding something to your cart so the WooCommerce plugin can re-load it.


  • Width

    Provide the size in pixels for featured images

  • Height

    Provide the size in pixels for featured images

  • Crop

    Choose if you want to resize or resize and crop the featured image

  • Description

    Small explanation to which elements this image will be used for

  • Width

    Provide the size in pixels for featured images

  • Height

    Provide the size in pixels for featured images
