How to properly modify the theme files?

All of the theme files can be found in the Betheme folder on your FTP or local drive. If you want to edit them on your FTP, you will have to set up an FTP account first (please contact your hosting provider) and then go to the /wp-content/themes folder where Betheme is installed. All of the files are easy to read and modify. There are no hidden or minified files.

Important!

Do not modify the parent theme directly!

Any changes done to the parent theme files will get erased and reverted to its original state upon updating the theme. This is why you should always use a child theme if you want to make customization to the theme files — more information about the child theme under this link.
