“The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.” error
If you receive "The package could not be installed. The package contains no files." error message during theme or plugin installation or update, there might be few different reasons of that:
- The domain where you are trying to install/update theme or plugin is not registered with proper license key (purchase code). You can manage your licenses on https://api.muffingroup.com/licenses/
- Make sure, configuration of your server meet minimum requirements under Betheme > System Status section
- The file is broken or you are trying to upload wrong file extension. Please download the file again and make sure is complete
Quick Tip!If api.muffingroup.com/licenses/ does not recognize combination of your envatomarket username and purchase code, please make sure none of those data contain any empty spaces or special characters. Also, please check if you did not changed username in the past as this might be the reason as well.
